Hi, hello! I wasn’t exactly tagged to do this but I saw it on Emma from Personally, Emma‘s blog and decided to give it a try. I’m not exactly tagging anyone, but if you would like to do try it, consider yourself tagged π

What are you currently reading?

Wasted Words by Staci Hart – This is a contemporary adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma. Personally, I haven’t read Emma, but I am really enjoying this now. It’s so cute and fresh and definitely what I needed to get me out of a book slump.
What is your favorite “can’t leave the house” activity?
I do like trying to learn new recipes, whether that is making up my own “Starbucks” drinks, cooking dinner, or baking.
A book I’ve been meaning to read forever

I have so many, but if I had to pick I’d say Suspicious Minds by Gwenda Bond. I don’t know why I keep putting it off, but I will make it my mission to read it sometimes this year. Mark my words!
An intimidating book on my TBR

Definitely A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas – I didn’t entirely enjoy the book before this, so I’m a bit skeptical on starting this. The length also intimidates me. It’s a thicc book.
Top 3 priority books on your TBR
- We Are Lost and Found – Helene Dunbar
- The Looking Glass Wars – Frank Beddor
- #TheRealCinderella – Yesenia Vargas
- these are subject to change because I’m such a mood reader, but I do want to read these soon.
Recommend a short book

she felt like nothing by r.h. sin – It’s a poetry book, but I love this poet so much and so far this has to be my favorite collection of poems he has published.
Recommend a long book

Renegades by Marissa Meyer – I believe this is over 500 pages, but I promise you they go by quick. I absolutely love this trilogy and if you’re a fan of superheroes, you’ll like this.
Something you’d love to do while stuck at home
I wouldn’t necessarily say ‘love,’ but I would like to start working out again. Quarantine has not been kind to my body, and I already have body-image issues so I would like to not feel as bad.
What do you plan on reading next?

Based on the aforementioned list, I will have to go with #TheRealCinderella by Yesenia Vargas. It was an impulse buy since I am a sucker for fairytale retellings and Cinderella has always been one of my favorites.

Well, that is the Stuck at Home Book Tag. I unfortunately do not know who the original creator of this tag is, but if you do please let me know so I can give credit. Until next time! ππ

I’m definitely doing this. π
