Hey Bookworms! Time for a book tag! I wasn’t tagged but I still wanted to do a tag.
- Mention the creator of the tag (Ayunda @ Ayundabhuwana’s Blog). Although the original post is here due to the blog moving to a new domain.
Thank the blogger who tagged you!
- Choose one of the options, you don’t have to tell the reasons why you chose that but you can also do them if you want to.
- Tag 10 other people to do this tag to spread the love!
Reading on the couch or in bed?
In bed hands down. I have a ton of pillows on my bed for maximum comfort whereas my couches are old and not as comfy or soft.
Male main character or female main character?
I can read from either perspective but if I had to choose I’d say female since I can relate more with them.
Sweet snacks or salty snacks while reading?
Sweet snacks! I have a sweet tooth so bring on the chocolate or cookies.
Trilogies or Quartets?
Definitely trilogies. I feel like trilogy is enough to create a well-rounded story and any series with more than 3 books feels like there would be more room for it to drag on. Also, there’s less commitment with trilogies.
First person or third person POV?
First person is preferred since it gives it a more personal feel to it, but I can read from either point of view.
Reading at night or in the morning?
I’ll read at any time but if I had to pick I’d say at night mainly because in the mornings I’ll be at Uni or if I’m home, I’ll be working on homework. Usually, I’ll reserve an hour or two before bed to read – although sometimes it can cost me my sleep.
Libraries or bookstores?
Bookstores. Although I’m not saying that libraries aren’t important, I just like owning my own copy of a book and not feel sad if I absolutely loved it and have to return it. I do go to both but I just prefer bookstores, especially indie bookstores.
Books that make you laugh or books that make you cry?
Both. I want all the emotions, whether that means a laughing induced asthma attack or crying myself a river.
Black book covers or white book covers?
It depends on the format, honestly. If it’s paperback I don’t really care whether it’s black or white, but if it’s hardcover I say black. White hardcovers can be pretty but they get so dirty easily.
Character-driven or plot-driven stories?
Character-driven. I really like seeing how the main character(s) grow from the very beginning.
And that’s the end of this tag! Hope you enjoyed this and if you’re reading this consider yourself tagged. Until next time!
